Founder's Message:

It is my aim to glorify the name of my Guru by spreading the tabla at home and abroad, following the path taught by my Guru. To this end, I want to inculcate in the students the art of music, traditional tabla training (Tabla solo and accompanying different art forms, for example classical vocal, instrumental music, light-classical and light music) which will be useful for Indian and Western Music genres. The purpose of my life is to perpetuate the musical journey by giving students what will be useful for Indian and Western music genres.

Being a Founder Member of this Academy, interested students are given traditional Tabla training through this academy where my senior students teach them under my guidance. I encourage them to appear various examinations, the responsibility of which is accepted particularly by myself. The tradition in regard with performing the art of Tabla is continued by this academy is only to create young generation of artists.

For this purpose, I would like to make a concerted effort to reach out to the masses by creating maximum facilities for tabla education and to create a large audience who are fond of this art.

My heartfelt wish is to spread the art of music by keeping the Guru-Shishya tradition in the field of music alive! I think that after proper preparation for the art of tabla playing by the students of this academy, all the examinations like Sangeet Visharad, Sangeet Alankar, Shiksha Visharad, Shiksha Sanad, Diploma in Music, M.A. in Music, etc. should be given.

My aim is to spread the art of music to the masses and to make the students famous in the field of music and in the society as an ideal tabla player!
